Bushtops Safari Camps - East Africa
Bushtops Safari Camps, in East Africa offers some of the most luxurious and immersive safari experiences imaginable. With a deep commitment to conservation and sustainability, this family owned collection of three camps provides an unforgettable and authentic “wild luxury” safari, with front row seats to the iconic wildebeest migration.
Camps include Mara Bushtops which overlooks a busy saltlick in Kenya’s Masai Mara and Serengeti Bushtops and Roving Bushtops, a seasonal mobile camp, in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.
Mashatu Game Reserve - Botswana
Where Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa meet, sits Mashatu Game Reserve, a 31 000ha expanse of pristine wilderness. It is home to some of the largest herds of elephant on the continent, and is known for its big cat sightings, baobab trees and vast landscapes. Guests can enjoy their safari by guided game drive, mountain bike, walking or horseback . Its underground hide attracts photographers from around the globe. Accommodation includes Mashatu Tent Camp, Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu, Mashatu Lodge and Mashatu Euphorbia Villas as well as the Kolokolo Safari Home and Shalimpo Safari Home.
Onguma Safari Camps - Namibia
Onguma Camp Kala boasts just 4 suites, so personalised service and exclusivity are guaranteed. With breathtaking views over an active waterhole and a choice of day bed, plunge pool or hot tub - guests can enjoy a safari from the privacy of their suite or head out on a guided walk or game drive on Onguma or the adjoining Etosha.
Onguma Nature Reserve also has four other lodges, namely Onguma The Fort, Onguma Bush Camp, Onguma Tented Camp and Onguma Forest Camp. Highlights include the Onkolo photographic hide and a sleep out under the stars, the Onguma Dream Cruiser. Oguma Trails Camp launches 1 April 2025.
Wilderness Collection Craters Edge - TZ
Wilderness Collection’s Craters Edge is a luxurious tented camp perched on the north-eastern rim of Tanzania’s iconic Ngorongoro Crater, nestled in beautiful acacia woodland and, notably, just ten minutes’ drive from all the wildlife action on the crater floor. Crater's Edge comprises 15 beautifully appointed tented suites designed for absolute comfort and immersion in nature, complete with authentic African décor and modern amenities.
Warangi Ridge Lodge is due to launch in the central Serengeti in July 2025, featuring 20 tented suites perched atop a granite cliff, offering panoramic over the Serengeti's iconic savanna, grasslands and kopjes.

Mosetlha Bush Camp & Eco Lodge - SA
Mosetlha is a family owned and run bush camp in the heart of Madikwe Game Reserve. It’s rare nowadays to find a camp that is still charmingly rustic whilst offering an unforgettable, world-class safari experience.
This unfenced eco camp is firmly focused on “thrills over frills” and promises an authentic wilderness experience - with a minimal ecological impact. The donkey boiler to ensure hot showers is a firm favourite!

OurAfrica.Travel
OurAfrica.Travel is a virtual trade show connecting Africa, Indian Ocean Islands with global travel trade.
The next show will run from 17 – 21 February 2025 with a full week of 20-minute meetings.
It is free for buyers (agents and tour operators) - and affordable for exhibitors.
Media are also invited to register to source stories and opportunities for press trips.
The Story Series starts 11 - 14 February, hosted by Natural Selection’s Colin Bell.

Recent Projects
Nianova
Worked for 3 years on some incredibly exciting projects for Nianova which included Fireblade Aviation, Niarra Travel, JAN and Tswalu Kalahari, which are part of the Oppenheimer Generations community. I spent 3 years working on Weeva, the sustainability management platform, now acquired by Travalyst in the UK.
I also wrote the internal Nianova Newsletters.
Ad Hoc PR Projects
Umlingo offers PR services based on as little as 2 days a month to make international PR (UK is the main focus) more affordable for small, sustainable hotels and lodges that don’t have big budgets, but still want a media presence.
I will also consider occasional projects, if and when I have capacity, such as media events.

Tuk South For Rangers
Jasper, Josh, Ivo and Robbie are four intrepid adventurers who completed a mammoth almost 2 year journey across Africa, driving two “safari-fied” tuk tuks from Kenya to Cape Town, telling stories of sustainable tourism, and raising money For Rangers.
